2026
Tokyo based Gallery Stoop is pleased to present "PINSTRIPE," an exhibition featuring a collaborative project by Domhnall Nolan— lead interior designer for Soho House Tokyo — and Makino Urushi Design, a Kyoto - based urushi lacquer studio whose work is featured within the house.
Brought together through this project, two distinct traditions from the UK and Japan collide. This exhibition debuts a lounge chair and side table that merge Japanese urushi craftsmanship from Kyoto with traditional British metalwork and advanced engineering.
Domhnall Nolan × Makino Urushi Design
Dates: August 29 (Sat) – September 27 (Sun), 2026
